Current Research
- Developing tools enabling the automated extraction, prediction and assembly of gene sequences for use in molecular evolutionary analysis.
- Investigating how ecological differences within cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) and elasmobranchs (sharks, rays, and skates) affect patterns of selection on genes involved in phototransduction and the visual cycle.
